Yep, I'm Home!

On my way across the country I stopped in Texas for something to eat and I was greeted with that big ole Texas smile. The woman who served me was so sweet and she talked to me for a couple minutes. I could just feel that incredible warmth of someone genuinely wanting to know how your doin' and make sure you have a good mornin'.

 When I got to Arkansas and......

I drove up to my parents house got out and gave them both a hug. As we were standing in the driveway a police officer drove up behind my car and asked the one question that made me realize I was home. It is definitely not something I would ever hear at my home in San Diego. While he was talking to us, all I could think of was "Yep, I am definitely home". I still laugh at it when I think about it, and it makes feel all warm inside when I smile about being back home.

The question was: "Have you seen a bull running around here?"
Apparently he broke loose through a fence and has been wondering around the area. How can you not think that's great? Police officers looking for a bull.
