Saints Unified Voices

April 30th

Our family had a wonderful experience of Music and Testimonies.  The Saints Unified Voices directed by Gladys Knight came to our Stake Center and presented a wonderful opportunity for Missionary Work here in San Diego.  The Choir is filled with over 100 volunteers from all kinds of back grounds and cultures.  The music was filled with strength and beauty.

They Sang Hymns and a few Primary songs with a little more "PEP".  When Gladys Knight sang "I am a Child of God"  she did not only sing, but put it in the context of someone actually speaking them as if it was a conversation.  What a beautiful talent the Lord has blessed this Choir with.

The only way to get tickets was to bring a non-member with you.  This was a Missionary program that was put together to share the gospel with others through music and the Testimony of those in the Choir.  Rob and I had tickets for several friends, but they were unable to come.  So we went and we got to sit right next to the band just five benches from the front.  It was a night to remember.  Rob and I went on Friday and then Rob was an usher for the Saturday performance.  He said it was really good both times.  He really Loves music just like me and so it was a real treat to share it together.
