Rob found this awesome skipping rock in San Diego a couple months before our trip and he was so excited to take it home just to skip it at the lake. As you can see it is a perfect skipping rock, flat and basically round.
Now it was time to skip it. The lake was calm and the weather perfect. He found his footing, rubbed the rock for luck and got ready for it's voyage. Everyone was quiet as they watched to see it take off across the water. It definitely skipped and went ploppppp. It only skipped three times and my sweet Rob was very disappointed that it didn't go farther. Now he will be on the hunt for next years.
